AAA Keys2Drive is our new website geared specifically for you and your teen as you navigate the learning-to-drive process.

The teenSMART® program consists of a student workbook, parent guide, driving practice manual, parent-teen activity video, and a six-CD-ROM set. Families taking this route can qualify for a discount up to 24 percent on your AAA Insurance policy.

Teaching Your Teens to Drive is especially helpful if you choose to teach driving to your teenager yourself. It is available as a DVD and workbook combination.

Driver-ZED is a computer-based DVD software program that helps teens recognize and avoid driving hazards through four kinds of challenges: Scan, Spot, Act, and Drive.

Approved Driving School Network is our guide to helping you choose the right driving school. Three schools have met our stringent guidelines and also offer a discount to AAA members:

At Desert Driving School, you can also include teenSMART in your teen’s driver training package to qualify for a discount on your teen’s AAA Auto Insurance policy.

For Seniors

Mature Driver Safety Course is an online course for drivers 55 and older from I Drive Safely, and it is designed to make it easy for you to learn at your own pace. AAA members save 20 percent on your purchase and can save up to 5 percent on your AAA Auto Insurance policy.

Roadwise Review is a CD-ROM that measures eight physical and mental abilities shown to be predictors of crash risk among older drivers and provides feedback to guide your decision about your ability to drive safely. Try it online.

DriveSharp is a software program that is clinically proven to help drivers see more, react faster, and cut crash risk by up to 50 percent. Measure your current crash risk and learn how DriveSharp can improve it.

Driving MBA is a member of our Approved Driving School Network. Their Mature Driver Assessment and Training program evaluates seniors’ driving capabilities. If training is required to redevelop particular skills, they can work with you to develop a driving program to fit your needs.
